We will be holding our Annual Spring Meeting on Thursday, June 15 after the Hawley event. There will be a meal offered at a reasonable price when you are done golfing, so please try to stick around to eat and attend the meeting.
We still have to call some of the golfers after an event, because they have not filled out the scorecard properly. This is something that by now we should have under control. If you have YES in both boxes, then please X Out the tee box you did not play from. In other words, if you played from the Forward Tees, X Out the Regular Tee box and just the opposite if you play from the Regular Tees. We are not going to be calling anymore, so if the scorecard is not filled out properly, you will get a DNF.
I hope everyone is getting comfortable with the new system we are using. If you have not downloaded the New Website, please do, as it will certainly help you understand the new system. If you have noticed, your handicap changes for every course we play. This system is better than what was used in the past as the Handicap was figured on an average rating/slope.
I guess there is not much more that I can write this month. The weather has been quite warm out there for this time of year. I hope everyone is making sure they take care of themselves, drink plenty of water, as we don’t want anyone to have problems while on the course.
